Second half goals from Grant Ryan and Kieran Harrison secured Atletico's first win of the
season, coming from a goal down at Griff. After a first half of little goal chances, Ashley Wilkes had given Nuneaton Griff the lead early in the second half. The game was turned around with 15 minutes remaining when first Grant Ryan headed in Tom Maddison's inch perfect cross levelling the scores, and then almost straight from the restart Kieran Harrison ran at the Griff defence and fired into goal from the edge of the area. AFC had to battle out the final 10 minutes with only 10 men as Ryan received his second yellow card and was dismissed.
