Atletico finished the season on a low, going down to the Racers, who moved above Hinckley
into 5th place, thanks to two late Trea Bertie goals.
A game played a week and a bit after the scheduled finish of the season saw two teams that
had played too many games in the previous weeks, pretty much go through the motions for the
first half. When Steve Hart did create chances Tom Cross denied him both times with good
saves. The goals came late in the game for Warwick as Luke Cole saw his effort blocked and
in the goal mouth scramble that followed the ball popped out for Trea Bertie to blast in
from close range. Bertie sealed the point with 10 minutes remaining playing a neat one-two
with Elliot Powell, before finishing past Carl O'Neill. A win for Warwick meaning Hinckley
finish the season in 6th position in the League table.
