A second half penalty for Steve Hart won the game for Atletico, keeping Atletico in the running
for the all important top six finish.
As Atletico played the second game in two days legs looked tired and the football was pretty much
the same. With chances at a premium throughout the game looked destined for a bore no score draw,
but with 25 minutes remaining Steve Hart scored the vital penalty. Hart received the ball central
and ran into the area, taking the ball away from Dan Morgan in goal, though the City keeper then
brought down Hart, with AFC top scorer stepping up to score from the spot. The tired legs of AFC
managed to hold off a late City surge as they looked for an equaliser, securing all three points
keeping the club in the running for a top six finish.
