Hinckley AFC 3 - 0 Cadbury Athletic
Atletico broke the 100 league goal tally for a fourth consecutive season, as goals from Steve Hart and Luke Richards eventually saw off a determined Cadbury Athletic side.

After a bright start for Hinckley, Marley Hamilton had looked threatening and created a number of chances until having to go off injured on the half hour, and Cadbury began to get into the game. AFC were rewarded for their earlier work though just before half time when Steve Hart was played in through the left channel, taking the ball up to the edge of the goal area, cut inside and drilled the ball for the far corner of goal taking deflection off a defender on the way into the net.

Cadbury responded well at the start of the second half have with a good 25 minute spell resulting in a number of chances created, but let themselves down with all poorly missed off target. This was a wake up call for AFC, but 2 goals in 5 minutes sealed the points with a quarter remaining. First Kai Tonge took the ball into the area on the right, saw his first cross blocked, but recovered well and from the touchline crossed deep to the far left post for Luke Richards to head unmarked into goal. Then with 10 minutes remaining a cross field ball from James Jepson into area from left to right for Jack Sutherland to head back across goal where Hart virtually on the goal line knocked the ball past the keeper, making it 7 games unbeaten in the league for 2018.
