Hinckley's run in the FA Cup continues into the 1st qualifying round where an away trip to
Mickleover Sports awaits on Saturday 2nd September. Mickleover Sports play in the Northern Premier League Premier division, 3 levels above AFC and are currently mid-table after 3 games. Sports won the Division One South title in 2014-15 to gain promotion and the last 2 seasons have finished in 20th and 16th position. Being a step 3 club this is the first round of the FA Cup they have entered this season, but previously they made it to the 2nd qualifying round in 2016-17.
