Holbrook Sports 0 - 2 Hinckley AFC
Holbrook Sports made a valiant attempt to hold out Atletico, but late goals from Sean Williams and Jean Kalenda saw the club through to the next round of the FA Vase.

With Ryan Seal unavailable, plus Ryan Paddock and Sam Agar on army duty, there was an unfamiliar look to the starting line up with both Sean Williams and Rico Taylor playing in the forward roles. Lee Butler was made captain for the day, to go along side his Player of the Month for August award, and prooved to be a thorn in the Sports side all afternoon. Jean Kalenda was started in central defence, plugging the gap made by the missing Ryan Paddock.

On what can be described as 'not the best pitch ever' which was also heavy from the mornings rain, it took a while for both teams to get going, though it was obvious from the Sports back line that their game plan would be to frustrate AFC and snatch a set piece or break away winner. This tactic had some success early on as Isaac Minott first fired a ball just wide, and then forced Haydn Whitcombe to save low down. As the game moved on AFC began to get to grips with the surface and make more attacking moves, however just missing the final cutting edge. Kalenda mistimed an attempt from a Butler corner, Williams fired over when 20 yards out, and Cooper crossed through the area without a Hinckley player in position to finish the move.

After half time, AFC upped the tempo and Holbrook were on the back foot for most of the half. Cooper was released on the left but his far post shot failed to curl into the net. Williams saw a goal bound effort blocked and Darious Darkin also fired over from distance. With Sports sitting deeper the final stages were all Hinckley and it was only a matter of time before the Holbrook defence gave way. Williams picking the ball up on left came inside his marker to the edge of the area and unleashed an unstoppable shot low into the far corner of the goal giving Hinckley the lead. Williams then again saw another goal bound effort blocked on it's way to goal, but from the resulting corner Sports failed to clear properly and Kalenda was waiting on the edge of the area to curl the ball around helpless Chris Dodsley in the Holbrook goal, and send Atletico through to the next round.
