Atletico crashed out of the FA Cup at the first hurdle being comprehensively battered
by Heanor Town in this extra preliminary replay. AFC made 5 changes to the line up from last fridays first tie against Heanor, but the Midland League Premier outfit were in no mood to let Hinckley off the hook again. Aided by some woeful and at times comical defending from the AFC back line, the game was over by half time as Nathan Benger had helped himself to a hatrick with Heanor sitting pretty 4-0 up in the first 45 mins. Heanor cruised the second half in no danger of being threatened and even added a fifth goal, as Kieran Debrouwer added to his first half strike. A solitary late, not even consolation, goal for Sam Agar was all AFC had to show for their efforts, from a game all will want to forget quickly. click here for: Heanor Town match details |
