Atletico equaled their record score beating bottom of the table Southam, with Ryan Seal
and Sam Agar registering hatricks. However the victory was tempered with empathy from
AFC fans who remember being in the same situation as Southam are now, when following
Hinckley United.
Southam were against the odds from the start, due to player issues they started the game with
only 10 men, and were 0-5 down at half time, Javia Roberts, and two a piece for Sam Agar and
Darious Darkin plus Saints keeper Matt Archer saved an Agar penalty. Second half and Mitch Tomlinson
added a sixth early on, before substitute Ryan Seal scored a 10 minute hatrick putting Hinckley 0-9
in the lead. Southam were then down to 9 men through injury before Alex Penny added to the score
and Sam Agar completed his own hatrick. Matt Archer saved his second penalty of the match but
Ryan Paddock followed up his own spot kick to net, and Ryan Seal then rounded off the scoring
with Hinckley's thirteenth and his own fourth of the match.
