Hinckley's 8 game unbeaten run came to an end at the Triplex, despite a late rally in
the second half, as Pilkington did enough, taking a 3 goal lead, to win the game. Daniel Douse and Patrick Behan gave Pilks a 2-0 half time lead which was increased to 3-0 just after half time by Matt Stirzaker. Hinckley hit back late on through Sam Agar and Sean Williams, but didn't have enough to force an equaliser.
