Coventry Copsewood 1 - 1 Hinckley AFC
Atletico remain unbeaten in 2016, but the conditions were the winner at Copsewood as the game finished in a 1-1 draw against Coventry.

On a heavy pitch with a strong wind blowing, both teams took advantage to score with the wind in each half, and goal chances were at a premium. AFC had the wind first half and were first to show when Sean Williams forced Dale O'Donnell to push away for a corner and then Alex Morris saw his header from that corner cleared off the line. There was a great opportunity for Ryan Seal when Williams won a penalty, but the Hinckley Vice Captain saw O'Donnell dive the correct way and push his spot kick around the post. It wasn't much longer though before AFC did take the lead, just after the half hour Marcus Jackson picked the ball up in midfield and ran towards the goal as the Copsewood defenders backed off he unleashed a 25 yard effort that swerved and dipped over O'Donnell, scoring his second goal in the last two games. The half finished somewhat scrappily as both sides were guilty of some rash challenges and play broke up around a series of free kicks in midfield.

Copsewood had the wind for the second half and AFC struggled to build up any attacking play. Coventry equalised 10 minutes into the half when Ryan Harkin ran with the ball down the left flank and evaded a coupe of challenges then came into the area and slotted the ball underneath Tom Cross levelling the scores. Hinckley responded with Greg Pearson having a shot on the turn pushed away for a corner by O'Donnell, but as the game got dragged down into a hard fought midfield encounter neither side could create a real goal scoring opportunity and the game finished a bore draw.
