Atletico's new signings were on show for the latest pre season friendly winning an
end to end game away at Quorn.
Liam Smith, Deqwon Ebanks, Javia Roberts, Jean Kalenda and Jack Jepson were all officially
unveiled as signing with the club and contributed to a 3-4 win at the Midland League
Premier club.
Liam Smith, a left back, was previously with Rushall Olympic in the Northern Premier
league, and has also played for Stourbridge in the Southern League.
Deqwon Ebanks, formerly a Birmingham City Youth player, is a striker with Conference
North experience at Tamworth, and Southern League experience with Kettering Town and
Hereford United. Was playing in the Northern Premier with Tividale last season.
Javia Roberts, a wide midfielder, came through the Shrewsbury Town Youth and Reserve sides
before signing for Solhull Moors of the Conference North. Also got Southern League experience
with Hereford United before playing last season with Rushall Olympic in the Northern Premier.

Jean Kalenda, is another Birmingham Youth player, who has been playing for Stourbridge in the

All combined at Farley Way in the friendly against Quorn, with Ebanks helping himself to hatrick,
whilst Roberts scored Hinckley's fourth. Though highlight of the day for the fans of
AFC would have been seeing Asa Wright return to action as a second half substitute, having
been out of action for most of last season with a knee injury. |
