Pilkington XXX 2 - 5 Hinckley AFC
Atletico Hinckley showed their never say die attitude and ended the run of games without a victory, beating Pilkington comfortably at the TSA Sports ground.

It was end to end early on, and Pilkington were the first to show forcing Sam Arnold into two great saves in the opening 10 minutes. First Arnold pushed a John Snape effort onto the crossbar, and then second showed great reactions to somehow tip a Kyle Turner header over the bar. Hinckley replied with Mark Bellingham making Reece Francis dive low to his left, before Justin Nisbett opened the scoring for AFC. A JJ Melligan cross was powered goalwards by Dominic Smith, but Francis was equal to the header, only to parry the ball into the path of Nisbett, who slotted in from a tight angle. The game turned on the half hour when the electric paced James Tindall had the beating of James Harvey, but his electric was cut off by Harvey in a synical challenge which earned the Pilkington full back a yellow card. After a further 5 minutes of berating the referee was shown a second yellow for dissent and sent off. Nisbett could've doubled the lead 10 minutes before the break, but could only find the side netting, which was further punished with a Pilkington equaliser on the stroke of half time. Turner broke free on the right of the area and fired across goal, seemingly in no danger, until the ball struck Smith on his ankle and deflected into the goal past the helpless Arnold.

Hinckley were back in front within 5 minutes of the restart thanks to Bellingham doing some dogged work on the left and powerfully crossing low into the box, where Phil Chesters could not evade the ball and it struck the Pilkington player and diverted into the goal. Hinckley began to push forward in numbers and Francis was called upon to save from Melligan and Walker, before AFC were caught out on the break. A long ball down the middle bounced between the centre backs and Odane Barnes stuck out a foot the ball spinning off his leg and looping over Arnold into the net. One of those you had to see to believe. This didn't phase Hinckley as they still pushed forward and Walker restored the lead with 15 minutes remaining. Ryan Taylor did well on the right crossed for Nisbett, who couldn't quite reach it, the falling to Walker at the far edge of the goal area, he evaded one tackle then fired low into the corner from 8 yards. Discipline completely broke down for Pilkington with minutes left, second half substitute Jack McGinn received his second yellow card and was also sent off, Atletico taking full advantage of this in the final moments. First Bellingham took the ball through the middle and coolly slotted under Francis in the last minute, then from kick off AFC won the ball and Nisbett was played through the middle by Bellingham and he too slotted the ball under Francis scoring Hinckley's fifth with the last kick off the game.
