On the eve of of their first ever match, Hinckley AFC celebrated their own independence
day, by learning who their opponents would be in their first ever FA Vase match.
This being Hinckley AFC's first season we are do not qualify for the FA Cup, but the Vase
is a goer, and the first qualifying round of the Vase was drawn today. Hinckley AFC will
face a tough away day at Tipton Town on Saturday 6th September. Tipton play in the
Midland League Premier division, and their head coach is former Hinckley United striker
Nathan Lamey. Tipton finished mid table in the Midland Alliance last season and it's
certainly a baptism of fire for Hinckley's new club. |
